FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they order

Straight answers, including the ones where the answer is "not yet". If something here is a dealbreaker for your organisation, better you know now than after an invoice.

Products

Stock and specification

Are your products genuine?

Yes. Everything we supply is genuine manufacturer product, sourced through our international supply network. Never counterfeit, never a copy, never a grey-market imitation.

Are they new?

Yes. Brand new and factory-sealed. We do not supply used, refurbished, open-box, ex-display or graded stock of any kind.

Are they UK models?

The product is the same manufacturer product to the same specification, but it is sourced internationally rather than through a UK distributor. In practice that means the hardware is identical; occasionally the supplied documentation or a plug fitting is specified for another market. Where that applies to something you have asked for, we tell you before you order rather than after it arrives.

Can I request products that aren't listed?

Yes, and most enquiries are exactly that. The four categories on our site are where we work most, but our supplier inventory runs to thousands of lines and is refreshed regularly. Send us the make, model and quantity and we will tell you whether we can get it, what it costs and how long it takes.

Which brands can you source?

Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Sigma, Tamron, DJI, OM System, Sennheiser, Rode, Insta360 and SanDisk are the manufacturers we handle most often, and there are others available on request. We are an independent sourcing company and not an authorised dealer or distributor for any manufacturer.

Warranty

Cover and support

Who provides the warranty?

We do. Every camera and lens comes with our own 12-month WYLLZ warranty against manufacturing defects and failures in normal use. Because we source and import our own stock, cover comes from us rather than from a manufacturer's UK warranty scheme, which means one point of contact instead of two.

What happens if something arrives faulty?

Tell us within 48 hours and we treat it as dead on arrival: we replace the unit and cover the carriage both ways. Full process on our Warranty & Returns page.

What if it fails later in the year?

Email us with your invoice number and a description of the fault and we will repair, replace or refund it. See Warranty & Returns for what is and isn't covered.

Buying from us

Orders, payment and accounts

Do you import the equipment yourselves?

Yes, and that is a large part of what you are paying us for. We handle sourcing, international shipping, customs clearance, import duty and import VAT. It is settled before dispatch and already inside the price we quote, so nothing lands on you when the courier arrives.

Can I buy in bulk?

Yes. Multi-unit is our normal order rather than a special request, and it is where our pricing does the most for you. Our largest single order to date was £19,179, sourced and delivered in full to a fixed deadline.

Can I order repeatedly?

Yes, and repeat customers are what we are building the business around. Reorders are faster because we already have your details and know your specification; in most cases you can simply reply to your last invoice with what you need next.

Do you offer trade accounts?

There is no application form or approval process to get trade pricing from us, which is deliberate. Send an enquiry and you get trade pricing on your first order. For regular customers we keep your details and specification on file so quoting gets quicker each time.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes, and it is currently the only method we accept. Every order gets an itemised invoice with our account details and a unique payment reference. We order and dispatch once funds have cleared.

Do you offer payment terms or accept purchase orders?

Not at the moment. Every order is paid in full before dispatch, and keeping that simple is part of how the pricing works. It is something we expect to introduce as trading relationships establish. If your process requires 30-day terms or a formal purchase order, raise it at enquiry stage and we will tell you honestly where we stand.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum. That said, we are set up for multi-unit and bulk supply. If you only need a single item, our eBay store is usually the quicker route, and you can ask us to source anything that isn't listed there.

Do your invoices include VAT?

Not at the moment. We currently trade below the VAT registration threshold, so our invoices carry no VAT line. We expect to register as turnover grows, and when we do, VAT will be shown separately on orders placed from that point.

What that means depends on you. If you are not VAT registered, which covers a lot of smaller businesses, sole traders, churches and charities, our price is simply the price. There is no 20% to add and nothing you would have been able to reclaim anyway. If you are VAT registered, VAT is neutral to you either way, so the like-for-like comparison is our price against your usual supplier's ex-VAT price.

If your finance process specifically requires a VAT invoice, tell us at enquiry stage and we will tell you exactly where we are with registration.

Organisations

Public sector, education and larger institutions

Do you supply schools, colleges and universities?

Yes, and we would welcome the enquiry. Education buyers are exactly the kind of organisation our sourcing model suits, particularly departments replacing kit across a media suite or a whole faculty.

Two practical points worth knowing early. We are not yet VAT registered, and we currently take payment before dispatch rather than on account. Some finance departments are entirely fine with both; others need a VAT invoice or a purchase order raised first. Send us the requirement and we will work out together whether the process fits, rather than assuming it does not.

Do you supply government and public sector bodies?

We are happy to quote for public sector work and we would like to do more of it. Being straight with you about where we are: public procurement often expects a supplier to be VAT registered, to accept purchase orders, and sometimes to sit on an approved framework. We are not VAT registered yet and do not currently offer payment terms.

That rules us out of some processes and not others, and it varies enormously between organisations. Tell us what your procurement route requires and we will give you a straight answer on whether we can meet it today.

Can you handle the size of our order?

Capacity comes from our supply network rather than from our own headcount. We work with an established overseas supplier whose warehouse serves a broad customer base and holds thousands of lines at any one time, so the question is availability of the specific product, not whether there is room to fulfil it.

What we can evidence directly: a £19,179 multi-unit order sourced and delivered in full to a fixed deadline, and a 100% positive feedback record with no negatives. Send us the requirement and we will confirm availability, pricing and lead time within one business day.
